Alexander Hills Architects is an architecture and design studio based between Hackney and North Norfolk but working nationally.

Our work is craft-led, and our designs come out of an intimate understanding of how things are put together. We seek to make architecture that is surprising and memorable - characterised by a sense of dignity, refinement, subtlety and humour. 

As part of our commitment to making better spaces for people and the planet, we endeavour to use local labour and renewable materials as a central part of our designs, promoting a natural solution over the use of concrete and plastic products where possible.

Current projects include the extension of a Victorian house in North London, the conversion of a former public toilet to a florist in Kennington, a refurbishment of a detached house in North Norfolk, and the extension of a modern house in Streatham.
